Love Pentatonix but this concert was disappointing. Sound and bass were way too loud -which drowns out the beautiful voices.
Bell Taylor Smith was the support act, and she performed for near an hour, then Pentatonix came on.
MCA is an OK venue, and we had a reasonable good view from the accessibility seating area., but the performance for both Bella and PTX was mostly ruined by the ear piercing loudness from amplifiers, which actually distort the music itself.
I know some musicians like to have their instruments turned up, but it was difficult to clearly hear the lyric.
The best part of both performances were when Bella and PTX sung a more subdued song.
I see from other reviews, that distorted loud amplification was an issue in a few of the venues. Pity, because both acts have great voices, and it would been good to hear them without so much volume & distortion.
