I loved the combination of classical music and Olafur's unmistakable and atmospheric work. The musicians were all amazing, first of all Alice Sara Ott.
There were moments that it was like being in a church, so silent the audience was. We were all collectively holding our breath. At the same time the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed with Olafur in socks and Alice barefoot, sipping whiskey or wine rather than water (how refreshing!). The feeling between Olafur and Alice is palpable, they would pat each other arms, swap places at the different keyboards and pianos, and Alice would sit at the foot of the stool where Olafur was sitting to listen to the very moving final tribute to his grandmother. Great evening
