This was my 5th time seeing OK Go, 4 times of which have been during their tour promoting Hungry Ghosts. Every show gets better with a few different twists and additions, plus the audience for every show as well as the vibe of the venue makes each show special. This night was no exception. By far the highlight was an amazing cover of Black Dog by Led Zeppelin. Not quite what one would expect to hear at an OK Go concert, but being a huge Zep fan, I was blown away at great of a job they did on the vocals, guitars and drums to recreate the vibe of a '73 Zep gig. Of course, tons of confetti, total interaction with the crowd and dancing on stage with them for the encore - more than worth the almost 200 miles I drove to see this show!
It was my first OK GO concert and I can't wait for the next one! Venue was perfect! Not too crowded you couldn't move. Anywhere you stood you had a great view of the band! I LOVED how interactive they were with us fans! My husband, a not OK GO fan, went with me and he even said WOW what a gray concert I liked their music, what a great venue! Merchandise pricing was spot one! I bought a shirt and tote and disinterested Ben break $50. Venue pricing was affordable for drinks and food.
