It was the fourth time I assist to an Eluveitie concert. The band performance was quite good. I could feel some evolution from the first time I saw them. Nothing bad to say about the band. Anna sings every time better and better, Merlin is a master, Glanzmann is pure heart on stage as usual and Rafael was really good.
The only thing that completely made the show a disaster was the place where you perform. Sala Arena is the worst place in the city. Always, always, always there are sound problems. Last night there were songs which the guitars could hardly be heard. The drums sometimes were too loud and ate the rest of the instruments and even Anna's microphone didn't work at the beginning. Don't they try them before?
And the place is really small. Eluveitie already brings a big crowd. I remember the first Eluveitie concert with Korkiplani in this place and already was quite packed. Second time with Kreator...very hard. Then you went to Sala Caracol...wonderful. But this time again to the worst place in Madrid.
And the thing is that they have an upper floor but they never open it to the public. They say that it is reserved for the artist. The only band I ever saw in that floor was...Eluveitie, when Kreator was performing.
I'd love Eluveitie coming every single year to Spain because they rock. But definitely I am not going to that place again.
Sorry for this large comment.
Amazing!! But something about the sound and the performance of the show didn't quite convince me. The lead singers were ok, but the rest of the band must really start to cheer up a bit :P
Anyway, first time I saw you live and I LOVED IT. Wouldn't miss it again for the world. Ihr seid wunderbar! Jawohl :D

Great setlist, but a band like Eluveitie maybe needs a larger stage to be really comfortable up there. The sound was quite bad at some moments (at the beginning of Tarvos I could only hear the drums), but it's a hard job when we talk about Eluveitie.
It was amazing yesterday.See you again in Berlin...
