Not a big fan of the new album, glad that it was abbreviated. The Tull portion was excellent and hearing "Teacher" a real treat. Bonus points for playing in sync to old videos up on the screen behind them! I realize how hard that is to do and they pulled it off flawlessly.
Dittoe deliver a few songs to the above. Was wishing that they had played Homo Erraticus in its entirety, but the surprising inclusion of "With You There to Help Me" and "Teacher" in the 2nd half more than satisfied me. The young singer (and often foil) is a great addition, great stage presence, and the occasional alternating on vocals with Ian was very well done. Suggest he deliver a few songs by himself--and turn up his mic.
Awesome show and it was great to hear the unexpected "Farm on the Freeway" in addition to the 60s/70s and early 80s material and the new album. There's something special about some of the more haunting sounds of the Crest of a Knave and Rock Island material that stands out from the rest.
