I was fifteen and very excited about seeing to see the Rolling Stones. In the days before disco there were live bands at dances etc, but the Rolling Stones were my favourite group and the most famous I had seen. Unfortunately I got carried away with the mass hysteria that was common at the time. When my idols appeared I joined in the screaming and hardly remember anything else about the performance. I am so glad I got to see them, but little did I think they would still be rocking all these years later!

I think everyone who was there will remember the fact that as soon as the band started playing Gimmie Shelter, rain started to come down on Jagger and the back-up singer. The area was actually in the eye of a real hurricane, which was one of the reasons the show was avoiding a second reschedule (the first due to Jagger's heart operation). Jagger put on an especially energetic performance of Satisfaction despite the rain. To my knowledge, it was Charlie's last gig with the band in North America.

I was there. They did two shows, matinee and late. I went to the late one even though I was only eleven years old. I was still at junior school (St Michael's). I do not remember the Moody Blues at all, but can still recall Spencer Davis playing "Keep On Running". Acts did short sets of twenty minutes or so, they played their hits and then they were gone. The noise was deafening when the Stones appeared. There were people fainting all over the cinema and the screams were like the sound of a powerful jet engine revving up. The Stones stood and sneered rather than played. There were no PA sound systems then, just a vocal PA and the band were as loud as their amps. When "Satisfaction" started, you got the first few notes, then the crowd's screams drowned out the rest. Afterwards, some of us went backstage and then chased the Stones car down the road when they drove off. Only we were told when they were gone that it was fake, a decoy and the Stones hadn't actually been in it. They'd left in the opposite direction when our backs were turned. Happy days.

What can I say? I am more than happy that I saw them yesterday for the third time.
Sadly, it was the least good, not because of the Stones, but because on the sound mixing guy, which should be fired - that was the worst sound I experienced on any of my concerts, and a saw more then 150! You couldn't tell what Mick is saying or singing..
But cudos to Ronnie, Keith and Mick, they are unstoppable! At that age, giving so much energy and put that amazing show, just wow! Ofcourse, Charlie has been missed, reast in peace legend :(
That said, if I get a chance to see them again, I'm going. But if not, I'm proud that I have opportunity to see the biggest band in the world!
    Keep rolling the Stones!

Beautiful, sunny September day - Some Girls tour. Journeys break-out concert. Delaware Destroyers baddest to the bone. The absolute best - even from the last, back row, what a scene.

The Mic show: doing the bump with Billy Preston and riding giant dick that popped out of the stage. Flower shaped stage - black n white tiled, It's only Rock n Roll tour.

The Stones always deliver. Great music. The Marcus
is showing its age however. Ore show could have had more facilities
    available.

I was so excited about going as I've never been to a Stones concert before. I was very disappointed in the sound. It echoed the entire concert, Stones and Brad Paisley. I've been to concerts at LP Field before and never heard an echo. It was hard to understand their speaking and the echo was bad during every song too. In spite of all that, we had a really good time.
