Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, US on Fri, 20 Mar 1987
I was there. I was a teenaged metal head who was getting really tired of the same old same old that every metal album was in 1987, Then there was this band of four guys dressed in leather jackets playing the powerful and simple music that just ripped apart every idea I ever had about music being boring and formulaic. This was beyond fun. Totally changed my perception of what music is.
So how was The Ramones show at the Longhord Ballroom on March 20th 1987. Fandamnedtastic!
If this is the time inthe eighties that I saw them at the ballroom, then yup ii was there. I was at the front of the stage for most of the show. The Daylights opened (local denton band playing punky funky angry music)lead singer wearing a black tight skirt...very NY dolls.Ramones we spot on classic tight, everything you would ever want. The girl I was up again st the stage worked together with elbows into people trying to get between us.The slam pit was one layer of people behind us. I was wearing earplugs and I heard every word and beat. I let someone else have my spot after about 40 minutes in. I had my fun.

Islip Hammerheads in West Islip, US on Thu, 13 Dec 1979
A life changer for this 51 year old. No picture ID's, legal at 18, and I looked older. The Ramones let it all hang out at Hammerheads that night. My best friends and I frequented the club. it was the only venue for metal and punk back then.
Twisted Sister, Soft White Underbelly, Zebra shows come to mind, but I can't swear to dates on those. Seeing these bands guys up close and personal sparked my desire to perform. December 13,1979 was a great day
