The best concert there evet was.
anonymous about Jersey City, US on Fri, 23 Aug 1974
This concert was great! I was 22 years old and had liked the beach Boys since I was in high school, so I really enjoyed finally seeing them live. It was a Friday night, and very nice weather. The whole stadium sang along when they sang "Little Surfer". That stadium is no longer there, it is now a residential area. But every time I drive by where it was, I think of that concert. I wish someone had a video or a recording from it. Thank you for this site remembering this concert. May God bless you. From Glen Hawes, Roselle, NJ.

The concert was awesome! and the party favors were great too. Loved every minute of it. Stevie Nicks and The Beach Boys were the highlights.

Mile High, Denver Colorado July 18, 1976.
I was there. I remember Fleetwood Mac seemed to be splintered into two factions. One being the original members (including Christine) and the other, Buckingham/ Nicks. Stevie Nicks was running around like crazy, knocking over microphone stands and I remember Christine giving her if looks could kill eyeball daggers. The rythm section was very tight. Anyway the Wesh witch routine must have worked because a rain storm was conjured and the crowd was soaked between acts. Right before the Beach Boys' first song a patch of blue appeared over center stage. One of the band members, I think it was Carl remarked " We'd like to thank God for our introduction." The band went on to perform one of the best shows I've ever seen. Extremely tight, dead on pitch, vocal harmonies. Dennis was (a little?) out of it and made some indestinguishable comments between songs. When the time came for Good Vibrations however, he played the drum part perfectly. (Take that Hal Blaine).
I remember the last tune was "Fun,Fun, Fun," and it was.
Picture 80,000 plus, walking out of Mile High , everyone singing a diferent haromy part. That's a very good musical memory. RIP Deniis.

Got to see the boys at this concert. Acoustics were, well, not what they are today, but it was really an exciting time!

I was in a band, Raunch from Ossining, at the time. We auditioned to open the concert, but lost out to the Young Savages, who lost out to Chain Reaction, whose front man was Steven Tyler, using he real name. Great concert! I don't remember it getting shutdown early. I do remember the sound system going out, and a snarky remark from Mike Love.

I was there, I saw that show as a freshman at UGA. I recall it being a solid performance.
anonymous about Chicago, US on Wed, 26 Nov 1969
Concert was not advertised very well. Not a lot of people there.
Got to sit on stage with them and pick songs.

I was there !

I had just graduated the year before, and returned to see the Beach Boys at the J. Elliot Hall of Music at Purdue University in West Lafayette. It was one of the best concerts I had ever seen. They performed all of the favorite songs, and returned to the stage and performed more after 3 standing ovations.

I am a duth guy, now living in France. This was the first concert I ever saw of the BOYS, when I was travelling in Canada in July 1978, Galgary. It was a thrill.... I took photos but I lost all of it because my backpak was stolen that same trip. Anyone has pictures ?

It was a great concert, but the cops closed it down early, because everyone was dancing ! It was outside ! One of the best groups too see in the 60's !
