Gov't Mule were immense and played two sets. One for an hour and a quarter, a 15 minute break and then the second set for an hour and a half! There were guest appearances by Elliot Randell of Steeley Dan fame and the legendary Bernie Marsden, once of Whitesnake, whom combined majestically with Warren Haynes for 'The Thrill is Gone' as a BB King tribute and later, the band were joined by longtime David Bowie guitarist, Reeves Gabrell who absolutely smashed Free's 'A little bit of love' in tribute to Andy Fraser! My one criticism would be that they're not perhaps the most dynamic group to watch but their sound more than makes up for that!
Warren Haynes is an amazing guitarist with a stunning voice and the band is as tight as you could wish for!
By the end of the night, I left feeling that I'd had not only great value, but that I'd seen something very special!

Govt Mule rarely disappoint and last night was no exception. With an array of guests, including Bernie Marsden and Reeves Gabrels, they stormed Shepherds Bush with both old and new. Tributes to BB King and Andy Fraser showed the audience how Warren Haynes is both respected and respectful of his fellow musicians. The band were tight and ensured their one British show this year will be one to remember.

November 7th show at Stage AE, in Pittsburgh, was the most kick ass concert Pittsburgh's seen and going to see for a while. No other band out there right now, even compares to these guys. GET BEHIND THE MULE.............

I was disappointed. My first time seeing Warren live and was really looking forward to a great night. The first set seemed more like a jam session. The bass was overpowering the other instruments. Also, the revolving lights were blinding me and others around me and I found that annoying. The graphics were subtle but effective. The second set with Jackie Greene started out great and I was excited to hear "Heart of Gold". The sound was much better...but we ended up walking out of the concert before it was over. I just felt disconnected.

One of the best Gov't shows I've seen so far! It was a beautiful balance of funk, jam, rock and soul. A very emotional show. Well done Warren!

Amazing. And selfishly I loved the small club feel. Kind of unusual to just drift up to the rail in the course of dancing. But WTF is wrong with OKC that only 550 people would be there ?

It was a great show, shorter than usual but very interesting with a great Captured and a jazzy Devil Likes It Slow. Excellent encore with a rare I'd Rather Go Blind + Soulshine.
