The state theater is an amazing place to see a concert like the legend
Buddy Guy , very good acoustics , seating is a little tight ,seats are old,
The only thing I felt was warm very uncomfortably hot inside the theater , not in the lobby .
Would I go again yes!
We were on the 8th row on the right at the very end of the row along the wall (the scene being in front of us) and we were very sad not to be able to see Buddy as near as the people on the other side as Buddy went through the concert hall among the audience
From where we were it was impossible to see anything from him
We also were disappointed when Buddy suddenly went away and didn't come back for a last curtain call even if the people asked for it
Been waiting for a long time for Buddy to be local. While Buddy was amazing the mix was brutal! Sub bass obscured any definition on any instrument. Bet it was clocking in @ 118db on the floor.
I don't know what the front of house mixer got, but he should have got life!
