This concert should be mandatory listening. He accentuates all the positives about folk music - fun, dialog, fact o life, silliness - but skips the boring depressing parts. His storytelling is "just enough" to be educational without sounding like a boring old hippy. Great highlights, no lowlights. His daughter opening up was a good choice too.

Loved it! But - given the age of the audience (myself included) - you could have scheduled it at 6 (Early Bird Special at 5, concert at 6). Kidding.

I love Arlo and have attended previous concerts including at the State. The first half was frustrating. It was way too loud and too glitzy. The back up singers/musicians overpowered Arlo and people came to hear him. I was in the balcony and the woman behind me said she had a headache. Others talked about how different it was from previous appearances and it wasn't the Arlo that they expected. The second half was fabulous. Also loved his daughter Sarah Lee.

I took my 2 daughters and 2 Grand Daughters. Arlo made us laugh and cry. His gift is in connecting with all ages. Wonderful show!

Great show except for the loud, obnoxious drunk couple in the back corner who would't shut up and who insisted on whistling (out of tune) the whole night. Arlo was fabulous and in perfect character spinning yarns between songs. Showing his age but definitely still has it!
